A great movie! I think it squarely lands somewhere between Shawshank Redemption and Good Will Hunting. Go watch it!

Monsters (2010)
A good film, especially considering it's budget of $15,000, but the character development felt flat without much else to boost the film.
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010)
Shia and Michael usually provide powerful performances, but were underwhelming here. The story felt very segmented and left me feeling unfulfilled.
Life as We Know It (2010)
A fun movie about the trials and tribulations of new parenthood. Catherine and Josh hold their roles well, and the ensemble works great! Some very funny moments wrap up this movie up well.
Eat Pray Love (2010)
Julia's on-screen presence really lacked, and I was quite disappointed. What else is there to say? Julia had to carry this movie, and she couldn't. Had it been done with an unknown lead, I think it would have resonated better.
Zombieland (2010)
This movie knows it's audience, and caters to it well. Everything from the video game styled rules to the stereotypical yet unique characters makes this one of the best films in it's genre.

The Bounty Hunter (2010)
Jennifer Aniston looked great in the movie, too bad it didn't have anything else to show for itself.
Love Happens (2009)
Aaron's transformation shone, while Jennifer provided her usual on-screen presence. Dan's supporting performance was executed extremely well. I look forward to seeing future performances from him.

Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)
Best 3D movie I've scene yet. Action slowed down a bit in the middle, but built suspense and ended well.
Julie & Julia (2009)
A very fun movie... quite inspiring, in fact.
(Editor's note: I was inspired to start a blog back when I saw this, but didn't at the time. I've been writing reviews ever since, that I've copied here, and I think this movie started a lot of that for me. Oh, and I think my love affair with Amy Adams also started here too.)
Star Trek (2009)
Awesome prequel to the series. The new cast full of fresh faces hold their own and I'm looking forward to the coming sequels.
Letters to Juliet (2010)
Cliche ridden, the best scene is at the end when the suitor falls flat on his back, just as this movie does.
Avatar (2009)
Visually stunning, and a great adventure story, albeit told in many movies prior. Seemed like a blend between The Matrix, Dances With Wolves and Ferngully The Last Rainforest. Fairly unoriginal, but fun to watch.
